This course is primarily lecture-based, enriched with real case scenarios to support your work with clients facing eating disorders. You'll also have the opportunity to engage in group work and apply nutritional strategies in practical, hands-on ways.
*Recognition: This is a National Centre For Eating Disorders course, which is approved by the British Psychological Society Learning Centre for the purpose of Continuing Professional Development. Please note, however, that for any CPD points or CME credits, attendees will have to make their independent requests through their professional organization to assess if their organization will grant them CPD or CME based on the course learnings.

About this training
Knowledge about nutritional aspects of food intake, eating behavior and weight regulation is essential if someone with an eating disorder is to recover.
This course will empower you in understanding nutritional guidelines to assist in the treatment for disordered eating. You will learn why nutritional interventions are so important and how to integrate simple, effective nutritional approaches alongside other aspects of treatment.

This course is suitable for nutritionists, dietitians, psychologists, counselors, nurses, coaches, and any person with an interest in gaining knowledge on the latest approaches when working with those struggling with eating disorders.
Awards
A Certificate of Attendance will be offered at the end of the training and a Diploma will be awarded upon successful completion of an assignment.
